HOW I USED CHATGPT TO NAVIGATING THE CLOUD SECURITY LANDSCAPE
Starting as a junior cloud security consultant, I understand the importance of staying up-to-date on the latest cloud security trends and technologies. In today’s ever-evolving digital landscape, keeping up with the newest developments and understanding the latest threats is crucial! That’s why I have decided to use ChatGPT to help get answers related to cloud security concerns.
ChatGPT is an powerful tool for everyone and especially for junior security consultants like myself who want to stay informed about the latest trends and best practices.
One of the biggest advantages of using ChatGPT is that you can get answers to your questions anytime, anywhere. Whether you’re at your desk or on the go, you can quickly get the information you need to make informed decisions about cloud security. This without the need of going through dozens of search results.
In my role as a junior cloud security consultant, I’m called upon to advise organizations on the best ways to secure their cloud environments. This can be a challenging task, especially when you are new to the industry. But with ChatGPT by your side, you can have access to the latest information about cloud security and be confident in that you can double check your recommendations.
For example, ChatGPT can help you answer questions such as:
What are the best practices for securing a cloud environment?
How can I secure access to my SQL database from an application gateway?
What are some of the latest threats to cloud security?
What are the most effective ways to implement multi-factor authentication in the cloud?
By having access to the latest information about cloud security, you can provide your clients with the best advice possible. You can help them understand the benefits and risks of cloud computing, and guide them towards the most secure and efficient solutions.
Of course also ChatGPT is driven by information found on the internet and should be augmented by experience and the customer context.
A practical example. I did the AZ-500 examen where I learned a lot about cloud security, when I asked some questions related to cloud security to ChatGPT it gave me a more wider perspective about security for example, understanding the importance of threat intelligence and incident response in cloud security and how to implement a robust incident response plan. The AZ-500 certification focuses on a specific set of security topics and is not big on all cloud security considerations: Microsoft intune, Microsoft defender for endpoint I learned more about these topics asking ChatGPT.
HOW CAN I SECURE ACCESS TO MY SQL DATABASE FROM AN APPLICATION GATEWAY?
The answers I received from this question I already knew, but it was good to get an reminder on all those things, so it is also a nice tool to keep your knowledge fresh.
In conclusion, as a junior cloud security consultant, using ChatGPT is a must-have tool in your toolkit. With its vast knowledge base and ability to provide instant answers to your questions.
What are your thoughts about ChatGPT?
